Andrea Meats is the Principal Interior Designer and Founder of AM Interior Design; with over a decade of experience designing thoughtful, high-performance environments across commercial and residential sectors. Her background spans healthcare, hospitality, education, corporate workplaces, and refined homes for young families; work that requires both technical precision and deep empathy.

Andrea earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, a CIDA-accredited program. She began her career at an architecture firm in Denver, collaborating on complex commercial projects across Colorado and the U.S. This foundation continues to shape her collaborative, detail-driven approach.

While commercial work built the foundation of her expertise, the evolution of her practice followed the evolution of her life. After becoming a mother, Andrea founded her own firm to align her professional work with her values; creating space for both family and deeply meaningful design.

Inspired by alpine landscapes and a lifelong practice of ballet, Andrea designs spaces with rhythm, balance, flow and a deep connection to nature. Every project is approached as a complete composition where functionality, materiality, and light work together to support healing, connection, and everyday life.
